Council Remuneration Task Force - Call for members
Strathcona County is seeking individuals to form a temporary independent task force to review and make recommendations on Council's remuneration and related policies.
Members of the public with expertise in any of the following areas are invited to apply by March 11:
- financial services
- business and economics
- human resources
- accounting
- community service
- experience in a similar public role
The Strathcona County Governance Advisory Committee will conduct interviews and make recommendations to Council. Task force duties are expected to be complete by July, 2022.
A review of Council remuneration takes place every two terms, with the last review in 2014.

Board and committee members provide advice on issues that are important to the County. The boards and committees are diverse, independent and impartial. They are made up of dedicated volunteers from across the County with varied skills, backgrounds and experience. Serving on a board or committee is an excellent opportunity to share your skills and experience and to give back to your community.
