Celebration of Lights

Celebration of Lights 2021, November 20 at Festival Place

Wear your favourite holiday sweater or elf hat and join us at the Celebration of Lights! This family-friendly event is entirely free and aims to entertain the whole family with an LED tree show, holiday music, holiday activities and games, as well as a special appearance from both Santa and the Grinch!

Dress for the weather as all activities will be outside.

All events adhere to Alberta COVID-19 health restrictions.

Strathcona Food Bank donations

Donations can be made through a contact-free process on-site during the November 20 event. Can't make it to the event? In-person donations can be made at the Strathcona Food Bank location at 255 Kaska Road, Sherwood Park from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, Monday to Friday. Financial donations can be accepted via e-transfer to strathconafoodbanktreasurer@gmail.com

Road closures, directions and map

Access this event by heading south on Sherwood Drive and turning right onto Festival Way. Brentwood Blvd and Festival Ave North will be closed to the public from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Traffic will be one way only on Festival Way, Festival Lane, and Festival Avenue during this time. Centre in the Park residents and business access only, will be available via Brentwood Blvd North.

LED tree and lights

Throughout the holiday season, you can drive by the LED tree and lights (located at Festival Place) and enjoy the display and soundtrack daily from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
