Strathcona County offers a number of subsidies to residents with low incomes. Residents can access certain County operated programs and services at a reduced cost or for free.

Support Services 

A wide range of supportive programs are offered that encourage well-being including: 

• Solutions Navigation
  The navigation program supports individuals and families in getting the services and support they need.
• Counselling Services
  Call-in counselling sessions, no appointment needed, on a "pay what you can afford" model.
• Services for Youth
  Youth supports and resources.
• Home support services
  Assistance with personal care, caregiver relief, and light housekeeping for residents who are experiencing health-related difficulties. Available on a sliding fee scale.
